Overrated for physical work

Jira lands last, and it deserves to for this use case. Someone always says "we have engineers, use Jira" — but a repair bay is not a sprint and a parts backlog is not a product backlog. Jira's agile ceremonies, issue types, and board conventions are superb for software delivery and actively obstructive on a shop floor, where the work is physical, sequential, and measured in throughput, not story points.
