Software verdicts
A verdict is one tool, five weighted criteria, and a single honest score with its reasons attached. We publish the good and the held against it, and date every price.
A verdict is a score with its reasons attached.
Every review puts one tool through the same five criteria, weights them, and lands on a single number out of one hundred. We publish the tradeoffs alongside the score, name what the tool is poor at, and date every pricing figure. Individual verdicts publish cluster by cluster as each category clears the rubric.
Every tool is judged against the same five weighted criteria.
We do not hand out round numbers. Each verdict scores a tool on these five criteria, weighted as below, for a single result out of one hundred. The weights are fixed across a category so two tools are always read on the same scale.
