Bluehost

A beginner friendly, WordPress recommended shared host that trades peak performance for an easy on ramp.

Bluehost is one of the few hosts officially recommended by WordPress.org, and it shows in the onboarding. A guided setup, a free domain for the first year, automatic WordPress installs and a familiar control panel make it one of the simplest ways to get a site live. Phone and chat support run around the clock, which many budget rivals drop. The tradeoffs are real, though. Renewal prices jump sharply after the intro term, the entry Basic plan is thin on backups and staging, and raw speed trails performance focused hosts like SiteGround and Hostinger. For a first WordPress site on a budget, it is a safe, well supported choice rather than a fast one.
