Verdict · Web Hosting

SiteGround

A performance and support standout among shared hosts, priced at a premium that renewals make steeper.

SiteGround pairs genuinely fast infrastructure on Google Cloud with some of the best support in mainstream hosting: knowledgeable agents, quick response times and a custom Site Tools panel that is cleaner than cPanel. Daily backups, a free CDN, staging on higher tiers and strong security come built in, and it is a WordPress.org recommended host. The catch is price. Intro rates are reasonable, but renewals are among the highest in shared hosting, and the entry StartUp plan caps you at one website with no daily backups. You pay for quality here, and at renewal you feel it.

The scorecard

Quality you can feel, at a price you will too.

SiteGround scores highest on support and performance, the traits it is known for. Value is the weak point, dragged down by steep renewals rather than the introductory price.
