ClickUp
A feature packed work platform that folds tasks, docs, goals and automation into one high value tool.
ClickUp tries to be the one app for all work, and largely pulls it off. Tasks, docs, whiteboards, goals, dashboards and native time tracking sit under one roof, with more than a dozen views and deep no code automation. Its free plan is one of the most generous in the category, with unlimited members, and paid seats are priced below most rivals. The cost is complexity: the sheer number of features and settings makes onboarding slower, and the interface can feel busy until a team tailors it down.

One app that swallows the whole stack, if your team can tame all its settings.

Depth and value lead, ease is the trade.
ClickUp scores at the top on features and value, with strong integrations. Ease of use is the one soft spot: the breadth that makes it powerful also makes it harder to learn.
Scored against the same five weighted criteria we use across project management. See the rubric →
a team that wants maximum features and value in one tool and will invest a little time to set it up.
a team that prizes simplicity above all, or wants a tool everyone can use on day one.
