Brevo
Best for low cost pay as you go
The cheapest credible way for a freelancer to send texts, at roughly a cent a message in the US with no contract and a free plan to start. It is a full marketing suite, so you get email too, though the ecommerce side is lighter than the specialists.
If your texting is one to one with clients, Salesmsg pairs two way SMS with calling in a single inbox from twenty five a month. It is built for conversations more than broadcasts, which suits a solo consultant.
Simple to run alone, with a clean inbox and drip campaigns from thirty nine a month. There is no free tier, only a trial, but for a freelancer sending regular campaigns it is easy to live in.
Pure pay as you go means no monthly fee at all, only the credits you spend, which fits irregular sending. A toll free number adds ten a month for two way, and the feature set stays basic.
More capable than its price suggests, with two way messaging, automation and unlimited users from twenty five a month. It rewards a freelancer comfortable wiring up Zapier; it is less plug and play than Brevo.
