Verdict · Website Builders

Framer

A fast, design led builder for marketing and product sites, with a real canvas and a lighter CMS than Webflow.

Framer grew out of a design tool, and it shows. The canvas feels like designing rather than filling a template, with layout, animation and responsive control close at hand, so studios and founders can ship a sharp marketing or product site quickly. A built in CMS handles blogs and structured content, and AI features help draft and translate pages. It sits between the template builders and Webflow: more design freedom than Wix or Squarespace, less depth and ecommerce than Webflow or Shopify. For a launch page, a startup site or a portfolio that needs to look current, it is a strong, modern pick.
