Verdict · SMS Marketing

Attentive

Enterprise grade SMS with a managed service layer and strong AI, aimed at high volume consumer brands.

Attentive is built for brands that treat SMS as a major revenue channel. List growth tools, deep segmentation, AI assisted send time and copy, and a managed service team set it apart at the top of the market, and deliverability and compliance are handled carefully. The friction is commercial, not technical. Attentive does not publish pricing, deals are quoted on annual contracts with quarterly minimums, and some agreements include SMS exclusivity clauses that stop you running texts through another platform. Reported contract values stretch from a few thousand dollars a year to the high tens of thousands, so the platform earns its score for large senders and is hard to justify for a small list.

The scorecard

A top performer that asks for a real commitment.

Attentive scores highest on features and deliverability and is genuinely strong, but value drops because of opaque, contract heavy pricing rather than the platform itself.
