AWeber

A dependable old hand at email autoresponders, strong on support and reliability, lighter on modern polish and depth.

AWeber has been sending email since before most rivals existed, and that longevity shows in both directions. The deliverability is solid, the support is responsive by phone, chat and email, and the free plan is genuinely usable at up to 500 subscribers. For a small business, blogger or solo creator who wants a no fuss newsletter and autoresponder, it does the job without drama. The tradeoffs are modernity and ceiling: the editor and automation feel dated next to MailerLite or ActiveCampaign, the template library looks its age, and heavier marketers will find the automation and segmentation shallow.
