Deel is the reference point for hiring across borders. It signs compliant contractor agreements, pays people in scores of countries and currencies, and acts as employer of record so you can hire abroad without setting up a local entity. The software is modern and fast to onboard, and it now adds domestic US payroll and a growing HR suite. The tradeoffs are cost and maturity: employer of record platform fees are high before salary and statutory benefits, and its domestic payroll is newer than dedicated US providers like Gusto or ADP.
