As a co employer it gives a small team access to large group health, dental and 401(k) plans, runs payroll, and shoulders compliance and HR support, all behind unusually transparent flat per person pricing rather than the opaque quotes most PEOs use. It is genuinely easy to run. The limits are scope and cost at scale. Health premiums sit on top of the platform fee and dominate the real invoice, the deeper HR tooling is lighter than a dedicated HRIS, and per person fees can be pricier than a payroll only tool once a team grows.
