For a store, email is a revenue channel, not a newsletter. The platform has to read store data, recover carts and turn browsers into buyers across email and text. We weighted store sync, automation and the revenue tooling that matters, then ranked the six built for selling.

★ Editor’s Choice
Klaviyo
Best for data driven stores
Nothing here turns store data into revenue like Klaviyo. Segmentation, predictive analytics and prebuilt ecommerce flows are best in class, and the Shopify integration is deep. Pricing scales with active profiles and can get steep, so watch the bill as your list grows.
Built only for ecommerce, Omnisend bundles email, SMS and automation tuned for selling, with a usable free tier to start. It is simpler and cheaper than Klaviyo for many stores, though its analytics are not as deep.
Drip is an ecommerce only platform with strong automation and unlimited email sends on every plan, priced by contacts. It rewards a store that lives on lifecycle email. There is no free plan, only a trial, and SMS is a paid add-on.
If your marketing reaches past the storefront into a longer customer journey, ActiveCampaign offers the deepest automation and a CRM to match, with solid store integrations. It costs more and asks for setup time.
Send based pricing and native SMS make Brevo an efficient pick for a store mailing a large list occasionally, with cart and order flows included. The editor and ecommerce tooling trail the specialists.
A polished editor, broad integrations and basic store features keep Mailchimp on many shortlists. For a serious store it lacks the revenue depth of Klaviyo or Omnisend, and value erodes as contacts climb.
